Grand Development Planned for Lord Krishna's Sacred Sites
Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, the State Minister of Culture, Tourism, Religious Trusts, and Endowments (Independent Charge) for Madhya Pradesh, has announced that significant efforts will be made in the coming times to bestow a grand and divine form upon all important sites associated with Lord Krishna's divine plays and his life.
He stated that this initiative will imbue the state's religious and cultural heritage with a new identity, enabling future generations to connect more deeply with Lord Krishna's life and message. Minister Lodhi was addressing the audience at the Manas Bhawan auditorium during the 'Shri Krishna Parv' program, organized by the Culture Department on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami.
The state government is undertaking the development of historical and religious sites, a project that has commenced with the Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain, where Lord Krishna received his education.
Formation and Objectives of 'Krishna Pathey Nyas'
Minister Shri Lodhi further explained that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Culture Department has established the 'Krishna Pathey Nyas'. The primary objective of this trust is to identify all locations connected to Lord Krishna.
These identified sites will be developed and established as 'Krishna Pathey' (Krishna's Path), allowing devotees to better understand the Lord's life and message. This initiative aims to foster a deeper understanding and connection to Krishna's teachings.
Krishna's Message Connected to the Public
During the program, District Panchayat President Smt. Patel remarked that Lord Krishna is the 'Kanhaiya' (beloved child) of every mother. Collector Shri Yadav, in his address, highlighted that performing one's duties with complete devotion, without worrying about the fruits of labor, is the true teaching of Lord Krishna.
BJP District President Shri Shivhare emphasized that organizing events depicting Krishna's divine plays will carry the message of Sanatan culture to every individual. On this occasion, Damoh city was seen adorned in colors of folk and devotion, with glimpses of Bundeli culture also visible during the 'Shri Krishna Parv'.
