LG Unveils Dolby Atmos FlexConnect Sound Suite Ahead of CES 2026

LG has unveiled its first Dolby Atmos FlexConnect speaker lineup, branded as the LG Sound Suite, marking the company’s debut in this emerging surround-sound category. For the first time, the lineup also includes a soundbar, expanding LG’s home audio portfolio.

Ahead of CES 2026, LG revealed four products in the Sound Suite range: the H7 soundbar, the M7 and M5 surround speakers, and the W7 subwoofer. While FlexConnect requires a compatible TV with the feature built in, LG said the H7 soundbar can function as a “lead device,” allowing it to work with any television and connect the rest of the speakers in the system.

Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, which debuted last year with TCL’s Z100 system, allows users to place up to five speakers anywhere in a room. The software automatically calibrates their positions to create an immersive Atmos experience. According to LG, the Sound Suite supports as many as 27 different speaker configurations, ranging from a simple two-speaker setup to a full-fledged 13.1.7-channel home theatre system.

LG also announced that its premium 2026 televisions will feature built-in FlexConnect compatibility, with the capability set to roll out to select 2025 TV models as well. Details on pricing and availability of the LG Sound Suite have not yet been disclosed. For comparison, the competing TCL Z100 FlexConnect speaker is priced at around $300.
