Karni Sena Protests UGC Regulations with 200km March

The Rajput Karni Sena has announced a major protest against the new regulations introduced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The organization will commence a 200-kilometer march from Bhind to Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh starting September 1st.

This action is being taken alleging a violation of the rights of various societal sections, particularly the upper castes and students, concerning the University Grants Commission's (UGC) new rules. During a press conference, the organization's state executive president, Santosh Singh Bhadauria, outlined the protest's plan, stating that the agitation will escalate until their demands are met.

“Leaders remaining silent on the rights of our society must come forward and clarify their stance to the public,” Bhadauria challenged leaders from the upper caste community.

Bhadauria emphasized that the Karni Sena will not back down and will pursue this fight to its conclusion. The organization has formally requested security and permission from the district administration to ensure the march proceeds peacefully and in an organized manner.

March Preparations and Security Arrangements

The Karni Sena has submitted an application to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), seeking security arrangements, traffic management, and deployment of adequate police force along the entire 200-kilometer route. Organizers claim that thousands of youths and community members from Bhind, Morena, Gwalior, and the entire Chambal division will participate in this march.

The historic journey is scheduled to begin at 11 AM on September 1st from the Maharana Pratap statue at Bhind Circuit House. The march will traverse through key locations including Bhind city, Phoop, Surpura, Ater Mod, Angadpura, Saura-Moura, Pavai, Pithanpura, Nunhad, Sunarpura, Gorami, Porsa, Ambah, Dimani, Morena, and Bhamour before concluding in Gwalior.

This march aims to unite the people of the region against the new UGC regulations.
