Karni Sena Protests UGC Regulations

Activists from Karni Sena Bharat staged a strong protest in Bhopal on Friday against the new provisions set by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The demonstration, led by District President Chandrashekhar Singh Chandel, saw the participation of a large number of youths, office bearers, and social workers.

Carrying the national flag and the organization's banner, the protestors registered their strong objection to the UGC's recent rules. The march concluded at the Raj Bhavan, where the organization submitted a memorandum to the Governor.

The memorandum emphatically demanded the immediate withdrawal of the UGC's controversial provisions and urged for necessary steps to secure the future of students. Chandrashekhar Singh Chandel stated that these provisions directly impact students' futures, urging the government and relevant institutions to reconsider their decisions.

Emphasizing their commitment to student welfare, Karni Sena Bharat asserted that they will continue to voice issues concerning student interests. The organization warned of escalating the movement if their demands are not met positively, clarifying that any compromise on students' academic interests is unacceptable.

The protest was conducted peacefully, with the police administration providing essential security and cooperation. The organization's future strategy will depend on the government's stance and response.
