Kapil Sharma Café Shooting Case: Delhi Police Arrests Goldy Dhillon Gang Member Bandhu Man Singh

The Delhi Police Crime Branch on Friday, 28 November, arrested Bandhu Man Singh, a key member of the Canada-based Goldy Dhillon gang, in connection with the shooting at comedian Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Café in Surrey, Canada.

Who Is Bandhu Man Singh?

A prominent operative of the Goldy Dhillon syndicate, he is linked to several criminal and extortion rackets targeting businessmen and high-profile individuals.
Authorities recovered a Chinese pistol and cartridges from his possession at the time of arrest.

Police officials said he had been coordinating with overseas operatives, including Dhillon’s network, and his role in the conspiracy is now under deeper investigation.

Kapil Sharma Breaks Silence

Kapil recently addressed the shooting incidents during the trailer launch of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, stating he is not afraid of threats.

He said the case had reached Canada’s federal government, even being discussed in the country’s parliament.
“After every firing incident, we got a bigger opening at the café. So it is all ok if God is with me,” Kapil said, as quoted by Hindustan Times.

Timeline of Attacks on Kap’s Café

Kapil’s café in Surrey, British Columbia, opened in July. It was attacked by unknown shooters just days after its launch.

No injuries were reported in any incident. No gang has claimed responsibility so far. Investigations continue to identify additional conspirators and map the gang’s operations in India and abroad.

Kapil Thanks Local Authorities

In an Instagram post, Kapil thanked Surrey mayor Brenda Locke and local police for their support, writing:
“United we stand against violence. We’re truly grateful.”

He also said the high-profile nature of the cafe attack has prompted authorities to take stronger steps to improve law and order in the area.
