Health and Livestock Relief Measures

Priority is being given to health services in flood-affected villages. So far, 196 medical camps have been organized, treating 11,081 individuals. The distribution includes 11,906 ORS packets and 13,629 chlorine tablets, with continuous medical camps being set up as required.

Adequate supplies of anti-snake venom and ARV (anti-rabies vaccine) are available to manage any emergencies in the flood-affected areas. Special arrangements have also been made for the safety of livestock. In flood-affected villages, 63 animal camps have been established, providing treatment to 3,974 animals and vaccination to 7,517 animals. Approximately 139.98 kilograms of fodder (straw) has also been distributed to animals housed in these camps.
