Yoga Championship Promotes Discipline and Well-being

In a significant step towards promoting yoga in Narsinghpur district, the District Yoga Sports Association successfully organized the Junior and Sub-Junior Boys and Girls Yoga Championship 2026. The competition took place at the premises of PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bohani, where young yoga practitioners showcased their skills.

The esteemed Chief Guest for this grand event was Sachin Tiwari, Joint Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Yoga Sports Association. The event was presided over by S. K. Chaturvedi, President of the District Yoga Sports Association. District Vice President Prabhunarayan Patel, District Secretary Deepak Chaube, Yoga Instructor Rohit Keer, and the school's Yoga In-charge Vandana were also present as distinguished guests.

Emphasis on Yoga's Benefits and Encouragement for Participants

During their addresses, the guests elaborated on the physical, mental, and spiritual significance of yoga. They encouraged participants to practice yoga consistently and extended best wishes for their future endeavors. The benefits of yoga, such as increased discipline and concentration, were also highlighted.

The guests were visibly pleased observing the enthusiasm of the participating children. They remarked that in today's era, where lifestyle diseases are on the rise, adopting yoga would prove beneficial for everyone. They expressed happiness at seeing the children's inclination towards yoga from a young age, considering it a positive sign.

At the conclusion of the competition, selected participants who demonstrated outstanding performances were awarded medals and certificates by Chief Guest Sachin Tiwari and other distinguished guests. The faces of the award recipients clearly reflected excitement and satisfaction.
