BJP Accuses Government of Negligence

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken a strong stance against the Jharkhand state government, alleging rampant irregularities and paper leaks in competitive examinations. The party has demanded Chief Minister Hemant Soren resign on moral grounds.

The BJP alleges that significant malpractices and question paper leaks have occurred in crucial examinations such as the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC), Combined Graduate Level (CGL), and Excise Constable recruitment. These incidents, the party claims, have jeopardized the future of the state's youth.

Precedent Set by Union Minister's Resignation

According to BJP leaders, following the recent resignation of the Union Education Minister, the Jharkhand Chief Minister should also step down. This demand is based on taking responsibility for the failures in conducting these examinations within the state.

The party asserts that these irregularities have led to injustice for eligible candidates and have eroded students' confidence in the examination system. The BJP believes the government led by Chief Minister Soren has completely failed to conduct these examinations in a fair and transparent manner.

Focus on JPSC, CGL, and Excise Constable Exams

The BJP has specifically highlighted the question paper leak incidents in the JPSC, CGL, and Excise Constable recruitment examinations. The party contends that these leaks are not coincidental but rather the result of a systematic breakdown.

Thousands of young individuals from the state participate in these examinations, and paper leaks cause them immense disappointment and frustration. The BJP argues that the state government has proven entirely incapable of maintaining the integrity of these exams, making the Chief Minister's continued stay in office morally untenable.

Ruling Alliance Rejects Allegations

Meanwhile, the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress have outrightly rejected the BJP's demands. Both parties have counter-attacked, stating that the state government is fully committed to protecting the interests of the state's examinations and students.

They have accused the BJP of unnecessarily politicizing the issue. The ruling parties maintain that the government is taking all possible steps to ensure the integrity of examinations and that the opposition's allegations are merely an attempt to mislead the public. They have also stated that any serious allegations related to examinations will be impartially investigated.
