Jennifer Lawrence Says She Skipped Intimacy Coordinator for ‘Die My Love’: “I Felt Completely Safe with Rob”

Trust and creative freedom defined Jennifer Lawrence’s experience while filming her upcoming psychological drama Die My Love, co-starring Robert Pattinson and directed by Lynne Ramsay.

During an appearance on the Las Culturistas podcast, the Oscar-winning actor revealed that she chose not to work with an intimacy coordinator on the film — a decision based purely on comfort and trust with her co-star.

“We did not have [an intimacy coordinator]—or maybe we did, but we didn’t really. I felt really safe with Rob,” Lawrence shared.

Praising Pattinson’s respectful professionalism, she added:

“He is not pervy and very in love with [his partner] Suki Waterhouse. We mostly talked about our kids and relationships. There was never any weird, like, ‘Does he think I like him?’ If there was even a bit of that, I’d probably have an intimacy coordinator. But he was not like that.”

Pregnancy and Creative Freedom

Lawrence, who was pregnant with her second child during the shoot, said the experience helped her let go of vanity and focus entirely on performance.

“I don’t care about nudity. I’m not sensitive about it. Being pregnant took away a lot of vanity anxiety. Before No Hard Feelings, I was dieting and working out all the time. But for Die My Love, I was like—what was I gonna do, not eat? I was working 15 hours a day and just tired.”

She also revealed her unfiltered attitude toward body image on set:

“They once sent me a close-up of cellulite asking if I wanted it touched up, and I said, ‘No. That’s an ass.’”

A Raw, Fearless Turn

Die My Love, adapted from Ariana Harwicz’s acclaimed novel, follows a woman’s descent into psychological turmoil after childbirth, with Pattinson playing her husband. The film marks Lawrence’s most emotionally demanding role since mother! and is already generating early Oscar buzz following festival screenings.
