Japan Stun Brazil 3-2 in Historic Comeback Win in Tokyo

Japan scripted football history on Tuesday by defeating Brazil for the first time ever, coming from two goals down to secure a thrilling 3-2 victory in an international friendly at the Ajinomoto Stadium, Tokyo.

A sell-out crowd erupted in joy when Ayase Ueda headed in the winning goal in the 71st minute, sealing Japan’s maiden triumph over the South American giants after 13 previous failed attempts.

Brazil, coached by Carlo Ancelotti, appeared to be cruising after a dominant first half. Paulo Henrique and Gabriel Martinelli struck to give the five-time world champions a comfortable 2-0 lead at the break.
