Match-Day Practice Restrictions

The BCCI has informed all IPL team managers that match-day practice sessions will be prohibited beginning in IPL 2026. Teams will be allocated two nets in the practice area.

They will also get one side wicket on the main square for range-hitting during practice.

At Wankhede Stadium, if both teams train simultaneously, each side will be provided with two wickets.

Sleeveless jerseys and slippers are banned during post-match presentations. A first violation will result in a warning.
