'Lakshya Manthan' Yogasana Championship Concludes in Indore
The prestigious 'Lakshya Manthan-Yogasana Championship 2026', a platform for Madhya Pradesh's sporting talent, concluded with a grand ceremony at Indore's Basketball Complex. Organized by the Lakshya Environment Water Solution and Welfare Society, Indore, the championship saw enthusiastic participation from individuals ranging from eight-year-old children to senior practitioners over 85 years of age.
Participants captivated the audience with an excellent display of their physical prowess, balance, flexibility, and concentration. The championship featured participants from various age groups showcasing difficult yoga practices such as Traditional Yogasana, Artistic Pair, Uttanpadasana, and Dwipad Prasara Asana.
The competitors not only demonstrated their individual capabilities but also highlighted the importance of a healthy lifestyle and discipline through yoga. Several distinguished personalities from the social, political, sports, and media fraternity graced the event's conclusion, boosting the participants' morale.
Inspiration for Youth, Message of Lifestyle
The presence of prominent figures such as Dr. Raghavendra Sharma, Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Yoga Commission, Dr. Nishant Khare, Vice President of the BJP, and Indian cricketer Avesh Khan added significant prestige to the event. In their addresses, the guests stated that competitions like 'Lakshya Manthan' not only attract youth towards sports but also inspire them to lead a healthy, disciplined, and positive life.
They emphasized the importance of integrating yoga as an integral part of daily life. The dignitaries encouraged the youth to embrace yoga for a balanced and mindful existence, fostering both physical well-being and mental clarity.
Environmental Warrior Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award
During the championship, renowned environmentalist Padmashree Bhalu Mondhe was presented with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the 'Lakshya Environment Water Solution and Welfare Society' for his lifelong dedication to environmental conservation and water conservation. The society's president, Dr. Pramod Nandwal, stated that this honor is a small effort to recognize Mondhe's relentless endeavors and invaluable contributions to society.

The results of the competition were announced, and winners from various age categories were awarded. In the 14 to 20 years age group for Traditional Yogasana, Pallavi Sunil Verma secured the first position in the girls' category, while Raj Rajole emerged as the winner in the boys' category. In the eight to 14 years age group, Swayam Singh Baghel and Reet Srivastava secured the top positions in the boys' and girls' categories, respectively.
Additionally, Pramod Ramanwal and Sushma Lokhande in the 20 to 40 years age group, and Vikas Kumar and Ashok Yadav in the above 40 years age group, delivered outstanding performances in their respective categories to win the competition. The diverse range of winners reflects the widespread engagement with yoga across different demographics.
