Ishan Kishan impressed in the recent Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, captaining Jharkhand to the title. He scored 517 runs in 10 innings at an average of 57.32 and a striking 197.32, including two fifties and two hundreds, with a century in the final against Haryana (101 off 49 balls).
