IIT Delhi Collaborates to Launch Fintech Course in Bhind; 32 Seats Available

Fintech Certificate Course to Commence in Bhind

Under the 'Prime Minister's College of Excellence' initiative and as per the Higher Education Department's directives, a certificate course in Fintech is soon to begin at M.J.S. Government Postgraduate College in Bhind district, Madhya Pradesh. This program is a result of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between IIT Delhi and Fintech.

The training, organized by the Swami Vivekananda Career Guidance Cell, aims to equip the district's youth with skills relevant to the demands of the current technological era. Due to significant student interest, the number of seats has been increased from 16 to 32.

Eligibility and Admissions

This course is open to students in their final year of graduation and first and second years of postgraduate studies. Admission will be based on a written examination.

Interested students can register until August 31. The written examination will be held on September 1, with the list of selected students to be released on September 8. Regular training sessions are scheduled to start on September 15.

Focus on Technical Skills and Practical Training

The primary goal of this training program is to prepare the youth of Bhind district for the practical requirements of the tech industry, rather than limiting them to theoretical knowledge. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate from IIT Delhi.

This certification will enhance students' resumes, significantly aiding them in securing placements with startups and multinational companies in the IT sector. The entire training program is designed to be job-oriented and includes subjects like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Python Coding.

Inclusion of Fintech and Live Projects

The Fintech module of the training will cover crucial aspects such as Digital Payment Systems, Blockchain Technology, Fintech Models, and RegTech Frameworks. Alongside theoretical knowledge, students will gain practical experience through live projects, case studies, assignments, and capstone projects, ensuring they are fully prepared for the industry.
