Tragic Discovery in Alwal

A 23-year-old woman, recently graduated with her MBBS degree, was found dead at her home in Alwal, Hyderabad on Friday evening. Her mother and grandmother discovered her body upon returning home.

Police suspect suicide as the cause of death. The woman was reportedly preparing for postgraduate entrance exams and applying for her medical license.

Dispute Over Pet Cat

The alleged cause behind the suicide is a disagreement with her family regarding a pet cat. The woman had brought the cat home a few weeks ago and was caring for it.

Her family reportedly objected due to health concerns, as she had developed cold and cough symptoms. This led to frequent arguments, according to PTI.

Police Investigation Underway

After discovering the body, family members alerted neighbours, who then informed the police. The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem examination.

A case of suspicious death has been registered based on a complaint filed by her mother, officials said. Officials, as reported by NDTV, stated that all angles are being examined.
