US House Democrats on Thursday released 68 new photographs from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, intensifying pressure on the Trump administration to comply with the deadline to release federal files related to the late financier and convicted sex offender. The images are part of a larger cache obtained by Congress, which Democrats have been steadily publishing to the public in recent days.

The newly shared photos include:

Political Tensions Over Release
The release comes amid partisan disputes over how the information is shared. Republicans on the Oversight Committee, which oversees government transparency, accused Democrats of selectively releasing material to shape public perception.
Meanwhile, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has not confirmed whether it will meet the Friday deadline mandated by the Epstein Files Transparency Act, passed last month with bipartisan support. The law requires the DOJ to release the most comprehensive set of Epstein-related files while protecting victims’ identities.
Background: The Epstein Case
Jeffrey Epstein, a financier with extensive ties to global elites, died in his New York jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. His death, ruled a suicide, sparked widespread conspiracy theories and heightened scrutiny of his associates.
“Oversight Democrats will continue to release photographs and documents from the Epstein estate to provide transparency for the American people,” said Rep. Robert Garcia, the committee’s top Democrat, urging the DOJ to release all remaining files immediately.
