Free Cardiac Camp Held in Guna

The Red Cross Society, in collaboration with Apollo Hospital, Indore, organized a special free cardiac check-up and consultation camp in Guna on September 27, 2026. Senior cardiac specialist Dr. Abhishek Rathore examined 115 patients, offering consultations on heart-related issues.

Held with the support of the District Hospital, all 115 attendees had their blood pressure and sugar levels checked. Additionally, 75 patients underwent ECG as required. Medicine specialist Dr. Ram Rajput and RMO Dr. Prakash Dhakad from the District Hospital played active roles in the medical procedures.

Preventing Heart Disease and CPR Training

During the camp, Dr. Abhishek Rathore provided detailed information on the importance of a healthy lifestyle. He emphasized regular health check-ups, a balanced diet, and exercise as the primary pillars for preventing heart disease. Furthermore, he conducted practical training on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), a life-saving technique for emergencies, enabling individuals to provide immediate assistance to those in need.

The program was managed by Sanjay Rathi. In the presence of Red Cross Society officials, local doctors, and dignitaries, Dr. Lakhan Dhakad expressed gratitude to all collaborators and physicians. The primary objective of this health camp was to spread public awareness about heart health and provide accessible medical consultations to the needy.
