Health Department Launches Strict Action Against Quack Doctors in Devri Block

The administration in the Devri Block of Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, has taken a significant step towards ensuring the quality of health services and patient safety. Following directives from Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dr. Pooja Parmar, a comprehensive and strict action campaign against alleged 'Jholachhap' doctors (unqualified medical practitioners) operating hospitals illegally and treating patients in various rural areas will commence on Wednesday.

A health department team will conduct surprise inspections in villages that have long been receiving complaints of medical services being provided by unqualified practitioners. Key locations identified for these inspections include Gaurjhamar, Singpur Ganjan, Kopra, and Anantpura.

Recent reports had emerged locally claiming that individuals without proper medical qualifications were asserting the ability to treat serious illnesses. This practice has raised concerns about patient health being compromised and has cast doubt on the healthcare system.

Fake Hospitals to Face Action; BMO Denies Claims

Recently, operators of some hospitals in Gaurjhamar had claimed that their facilities were operating under the orders of the Block Medical Officer. Names such as T.K. Vishwas and Ashwani Majumdar were being linked to these claims.

However, BMO Dr. Pooja Parmar has refuted these claims, stating unequivocally that the department has not provided any protection or permission for such illegal operations. She has strongly rejected these assertions and adopted a firm stance.

Dr. Parmar further stated that the investigation team will specifically scrutinize hospitals associated with Arvind Vishwas and Ritesh Vishwas in Singpur Ganjan. Additionally, suspicious hospitals operating in Kopra and Anantpura will undergo thorough investigation.

The primary objective of this campaign is to ensure that only medical practitioners with valid degrees and necessary permissions are allowed to treat patients.

Preparation for Strict Legal Action

If any irregularities are found during the investigation concerning medical qualifications or essential valid documents for hospital operation, immediate legal action will be initiated against the individuals involved. The process of shutting down all such unauthorized medical centers violating rules will also be prioritized.

This move by the health department is a significant effort to provide safe and certified medical facilities to the general public in rural areas. The action has created a stir among the 'Jholachhap' doctors and operators of illegal hospitals in the Devri Block.

The eyes of local residents and the general public are now focused on witnessing the ground-level impact of the campaign proposed by the health department. It is hoped that this campaign will prove effective and bring a complete halt to illegal medical operations in rural areas, thereby ensuring the safety of patients' health.
