Daughters Shine on National Stage
Two daughters from Harwar, Shruti Chauhan and Nidhi Chauhan, have brought pride to their village and family by showcasing exceptional mental math skills at the UC MAS All India National Level Mental Math Competition held in Mumbai on September 5, 2026. Their achievement is a testament to their hard work and dedication.
Intense Competition Challenges Participants
The national-level competition, organized at the SIDCCO Convention Centre in Vashi, saw talented children from across the country compete. The event aimed to test children's rapid calculation abilities, concentration, and problem-solving skills.
Participants were tasked with solving approximately 200 complex questions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of single and double digits within a stringent 8-minute timeframe.
National Recognition for Young Mathematicians
Facing these tough challenges, Shruti Chauhan secured the Champion Trophy and First Position in Category B of the UC MAS National Level, demonstrating outstanding performance. Her sister, Nidhi Chauhan, proved her mettle in Category A, earning the First Runner-Up Trophy.
This spectacular achievement has sparked joy among their parents, Kanwar Lal Chauhan, and across the entire Harwar village. Local residents and well-wishers have congratulated the two young achievers and wished them a bright future.
A Pattern of Success
This is not the first time Shruti and Nidhi have showcased their talent. Following their success at the state level, they previously won the champion title at the state-level competition held in Indore on May 3, 2026, which paved their way to the national competition.
Both sisters received specialized mental math training at Winner World in Ratlam, which proved instrumental in their success. Their accomplishment highlights that with proper training, hard work, and determination, girls can excel in any field and serve as an inspiration to society.
