In Dewri, the Congress Seva Dal held its monthly flag hoisting program at the Gandhi Memorial. The event was graced by former cabinet minister Harsh Yadav as the chief guest, who performed the flag hoisting ceremony.

On this occasion, Seva Dal workers took out a morning procession through the main routes of the town with the aim of spreading the message of truth, non-violence, and national service of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, to every citizen.

Seva Dal's Monthly Activities and Inspiration

This program was part of the monthly activities of the Congress Seva Dal, intended to inspire the organization's workers with the ideals of the Father of the Nation and promote them at the grassroots level.

The program was presided over by Seva Dal District President B.D. Patel. The ceremony commenced with garlanding the statue of Gandhiji at his memorial.

Disciplined Procession and Enthusiastic Atmosphere

Following the garlanding, the flag hoisting ceremony was performed. After the flag hoisting was completed, Congress Seva Dal workers participated in the morning procession in a disciplined manner, creating a special atmosphere of enthusiasm throughout the event.

During the morning procession, workers chanted Gandhiji's slogans and raised slogans in praise of his principles, filling the city's atmosphere with patriotism and inspiration.

Remembering Gandhiji's Thoughts

In his address, former minister Harsh Yadav emphasized the importance of Mahatma Gandhi's thoughts. He stated that Bapu's ideas still possess the strength to guide the nation and society today. He added that strengthening values like truth, non-violence, brotherhood, and public service is the collective responsibility of all.

Harsh Yadav commended the efforts of the Congress Seva Dal, noting that the organization is doing commendable work in continuously advancing these great ideas. He urged the workers to adopt Gandhiji's ideals in their daily lives and spread them in society.

He further stated that in today's times, when society is facing various challenges, Mahatma Gandhi's path of truth and non-violence can show us the right direction. Seva Dal is striving to keep such values alive through its programs. The organization of the morning procession was an important step in this direction, allowing the general public to connect with the Father of the Nation's messages.
