Harion Yoga Kendra Inaugurates 31st Center, Honors Dedicated Teachers

Indore, September 28, 2026 – The Harion Yoga Kendra Charitable Trust has inaugurated its 31st yoga center at the Avadhoot Premises on Kesharbagh Road. This event was held to commemorate the birth anniversary of the late Dr. R.C. Verma, furthering the tradition of connecting yoga practice with public service.

The ceremony, held at the Shri Ahilya Mata Gaushala premises, also honored yoga teachers and trainers who serve selflessly. Trust's Managing Trustee, Mr. Ashwini Verma, recognized yoga instructors providing yoga services without personal gain at various centers, commending their dedication and contribution to yoga practice.

Distinguished guests including Dr. Nirmal Mahajan, Dr. R.K. Bajpai, Dr. Hemant Sharma, Mr. Prem Kumar Dua, Mr. Manoj Verma, Mr. Shankar Laddha, Mr. Vijay Dani, and Ms. Raunak Soni, along with center in-charges and yoga teachers, were present.

Carrying Forward Dr. R.C. Verma's Legacy

In his address, Mr. Ashwini Verma shared inspiring anecdotes from the life of Dr. R.C. Verma. He emphasized that continuing the tradition of service and spiritual practice established by Dr. Verma would be the truest tribute to him.

This 31st center is part of the trust's expansion plans to make yoga accessible to a wider audience. Established in memory of Dr. R.C. Verma, the new center is a significant step towards spreading yoga and its benefits to the masses. The trust aims for everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily routine to improve physical and mental health.

Discussion and Planning for the 2026 National Ayush Conference

Following the felicitation ceremony, a crucial meeting was held to discuss preparations for the 2026 National Ayush Conference. Strategies were formulated regarding the conference's work plan, task allocation, and upcoming activities.

Extensive discussions focused on making the conference a resounding success and actively engaging students, teachers, and professionals from the Ayush sector. Dr. Hemant Sharma, Head of the Yoga Department at Chaitram College of Professional Studies, provided detailed insights into the proposed conference framework, its objectives, future activities, and the roles of participants.

He elaborated on how various stakeholders would be involved in the conference to leverage their knowledge and experience. The conference's primary objective is to discuss the latest research and advancements in the Ayush field, facilitate knowledge exchange, and explore new opportunities.

Fostering Enthusiasm and Public Participation

Dr. Pramod Nandwal highlighted the significant enthusiasm among participants for the 2026 conference. He stated that outreach and coordination are being established at various levels to ensure the event's success with broad public participation.

Separate committees will be formed and assigned responsibilities to ensure the conference achieves its objectives. This conference is poised to be a milestone in shaping the future of the Ayush sector. Several working groups have been established for the successful organization of the conference, each assigned specific responsibilities including registration, guest management, publicity, academic sessions, and volunteer coordination.

Regular meetings will be conducted to promote coordination and communication among team members, ensuring everyone effectively fulfills their roles.

Appreciation and Future Initiatives

At the end of the program, Mr. Pushpendra Ji Dhanotiya of Shri Ahilya Mata Gaushala Trust expressed gratitude to all attendees. He also urged for a special monthly event at the gaushala premises dedicated to serving and practicing yoga for yoga practitioners.

This initiative aims to foster a harmonious synergy between yoga, cow service, and spiritual activities, aiding in the promotion of yoga and spiritual growth through service to the cows. Attendees also had the opportunity to observe the cow protection projects operating at the gaushala and visit the Sapt Gau Mata Temple.

Everyone present lauded the trust's efforts after witnessing the various public welfare activities underway at the gaushala. The venue serves not only as a center for cow protection but also as a source of spiritual peace and inspiration. The program concluded with a warm gathering and light refreshments.
