Streamlining Traffic in Guna: Encroachment Removal Mandated, New Action Plan Underway
In a significant step towards ensuring smooth and organized traffic management in Guna city, a comprehensive meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Collector Kishore Kumar Kanyal. The meeting involved extensive deliberation to address the city's traffic challenges and formulate an effective action plan for the future.
The meeting was attended by MLA Pannalal Shakya, former minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia, Superintendent of Police Hitika Vasal, along with other relevant administrative officials and public representatives. The primary focus was on developing both short-term and long-term strategies to improve the city's current traffic system.
Tackling Traffic Obstructions: Public Representatives Offer Suggestions
During the discussions, public representatives presented valuable suggestions regarding elements obstructing traffic and the necessary police actions. Their insights were crucial in shaping the proposed strategies for traffic improvement and enforcement.
Strict Action Against Encroachments Ordered
Collector Kishore Kumar Kanyal issued clear directives to identify and take strict action against encroachments obstructing traffic on the city's main roads and narrow lanes. A decision was made that encroachers would face not only challans (fines) but also other stringent measures as deemed necessary.
The objective of this initiative is to clear roads of obstructions and ensure unimpeded movement for citizens.
Coordination Between Representatives and Officials Emphasized
The meeting underscored the critical importance of mutual coordination among all relevant departments to enhance the traffic system. The Collector also instructed that dialogue should be established with various groups, including 'jhanki' (tableau) committees, flower vendors, and auto-rickshaw drivers, to incorporate their suggestions into the new action plan.
This inclusive approach aims to achieve a comprehensive and well-rounded solution. Additional Superintendent of Police Prashant Suman, Deputy Collector Devanshu Shivhare, Executing Magistrate Mayank Tiwari, and CMO Shailesh Awasthi actively participated in the meeting and presented their reports.
The administration has clarified that organizing the city's traffic system is among its top priorities. Effective and time-bound actions will be ensured in this regard to provide citizens with the convenience of smooth transportation.
