Major Breakthrough in Property Crime Crackdown

In a significant achievement as part of its campaign to curb property-related crimes, the Chachoura Police in Guna district have successfully busted an interstate vehicle theft gang. The operation led to the arrest of four notorious criminals.

A total of 24 stolen motorcycles were recovered from the possession of the arrested individuals. These vehicles were stolen from various districts including Guna, Indore, and Rajgarh, as well as different areas of Rajasthan. This successful operation was conducted under the able leadership of Guna Superintendent of Police, Hitika Vasal.

Investigation Initiated After Multiple Thefts

The police were prompted to act following a series of four motorcycle thefts reported in the Chachoura police station area between September 14 and September 25, 2026. The complaints were filed by individuals including Pravesh Meena, Manish Sharma, Mangal Meena, and Shrilal Gurjar, prompting a thorough investigation.

Technology and Informants Key to Unraveling the Gang

The police team meticulously analyzed CCTV footage from cameras installed around the crime scenes. Additionally, they employed technical analysis and a robust informant network to delve into the case and identify the culprits.

As a result of this intensive investigation, the police successfully identified and apprehended four accused: Chandan Bheel, Bijendra Bheel, Rakesh Bheel, and Raghuveer Ahirwar, all residents of Chachoura.

Gang's Reach Extended Across Multiple States

During interrogation, it was revealed that the gang's operations were not confined to Chachoura alone. They were involved in vehicle thefts across districts in Madhya Pradesh such as Guna, Indore, Biaora, and Rajgarh, as well as cities in Rajasthan including Kota, Baran, and Jhunjhunu.

Following their leads, the police have confiscated a total of 24 motorcycles, highlighting the scale of the gang's operations and the value of the recovered assets.

Further Actions and Police Commitment

The police have stated that several other absconding members of the gang have been identified, and teams have been dispatched to apprehend them. The contributions of Station House Officer Dilip Rajoria, Binaganj Outpost In-charge Neeraj Lodhi, and the Cyber Cell team were particularly commendable in making this operation successful.

The Superintendent of Police reiterated that the police will continue to maintain law and order in the district and take strict legal action against criminals. Ensuring the safety of the public remains the police's utmost priority.
