Major Operation Against Banned Carbide Guns in Guna

Under the directives of Collector Kishore Kumar Kanyal, a joint team of the local administration and police department in Guna city launched a significant campaign against the manufacturing and sale of banned carbide guns. This operation involved raids on four different shops across the city.

During the crackdown, approximately 280 banned carbide guns were seized. Additionally, equipment used for manufacturing these weapons was recovered from one shop, prompting the administration to immediately seal the premises pending further action. This joint operation was conducted under the direct supervision of Tehsildar Mayank Tiwari and Police Station Kotwali in-charge Ramsevak Sharma.

Seizure of Banned Weapons and Manufacturing Equipment

The team received intelligence about the illegal manufacturing and sale of carbide guns within the city. Acting on this tip-off, the first raid targeted the Favorite Welding shop in Guna, where steel-made carbide guns and their manufacturing materials were confiscated. Subsequently, a large number of banned guns were also recovered from two shops located in Jat Mohalla and another shop on Sakatpur Road.

All seized banned carbide guns and manufacturing equipment have been secured in the custody of the Police Station Kotwali. The administration has emphasized that any complaints received regarding such banned materials will be dealt with the same seriousness in the future. The successful joint operation included Tehsildar Mayank Tiwari, Station in-charge Ramsevak Sharma, Revenue Inspector Kuldeep Gupta, and other police personnel.

Legal Proceedings and Public Appreciation

Currently, legal procedures are being completed in accordance with the law based on the seized materials. This move by the administration aims to ensure safety standards in the city and curb the trade of illegal weapons. Local citizens have lauded the administration's swift action and urged them to continue such campaigns. The administration has issued instructions to exercise increased vigilance and take immediate action against any illegal activities.
