Preparations for Ganesh Visarjan in Guna Reach Final Stages

Administrative preparations for the Shri Anant Chaturdashi and Ganesh Visarjan Festival in Guna are in their final stages. To ensure the upcoming processions and festivities are conducted smoothly and without disruption, the representative of the Municipal Chairperson, Arvind Gupta, conducted a comprehensive tour of the Cantonment area.

During his visit, Mr. Gupta meticulously inspected the main procession route and issued specific instructions to the municipal team regarding necessary arrangements. He particularly emphasized the importance of sanitation, lighting, filling potholes on roads, and maintaining smooth traffic flow. The primary objective of this tour is to ensure that devotees and local residents do not face any inconvenience during the festival.

Grand Aircraft Float Procession to Commence from Cantonment Chowk

Barelal Dhakad, the President of the Shri Anant Chaturdashi and Ganesh Visarjan Festival Committee Cantonment-Guna, and Treasurer Rohit Rajput shared details about the event. They informed that, as per tradition, attractive tableaux will be set up in the temples and markets of the Cantonment area this year as well.

A grand aircraft float procession is scheduled to commence on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 8 PM from Cantonment Chowk. The committee members have urged all the city's religious citizens to participate in large numbers to make this Ganesh Visarjan festival a grand success.

These joint preparations by the administration and the committee are aimed at further enhancing the festive atmosphere in the region. The event has been planned with stringent security and logistical arrangements to ensure all devotees can participate peacefully in the immersion process.
