Consequently, all these establishments have been declared sub-standard. The Food Safety Department has initiated immediate action based on these findings. Strict Action Against Adulteration Continues
Based on complaints received by the Food Safety Department, samples of paneer, curd, and cake were collected from Amul Parlor in Telghani. This action was taken in response to concerns expressed by local citizens regarding food quality.
The department has immediately dispatched these samples to the State Food Testing Laboratory in Bhopal for quality evaluation. Additionally, samples of namkeen from Shri Hari Bikaner Mithan Bhandar in Old Galla Mandi and seasonal, pomegranate, and pineapple juices from Ashoka Juice Centre near Manas Bhawan were also collected.
All these samples have been sent to the laboratory for thorough investigation. The district administration has clarified that the drive to inspect and collect samples from those involved in food adulteration within the district will continue uninterrupted. The primary objective is to provide citizens with pure and safe food items, thereby protecting public health.
This campaign is expected to cause panic among adulterators and ensure that consumers receive only high-quality products.
