Government Railway Police Exemplify Sensitivity in Child Safety Operations

The Government Railway Police (GRP) of Madhya Pradesh has once again demonstrated outstanding sensitivity towards the safety of rail passengers and children. Adhering to the core principle of 'Patriotism-Public Service', the GRP has not only safely rescued two young girls in separate incidents but also successfully reunited them with their families.

These actions prove that the GRP is not limited to maintaining law and order but is also readily available to help every needy person with human empathy. The Bhopal GRP, under 'Operation Hamdard', reunited a one-month-old abandoned infant with her family in just 11 days.

Abandoned Infant Reunited with Family After 11 Days

Upon receiving information about the abandoned infant at the Bhopal Railway Station's auto stand on July 10, the GRP immediately took the child under their protection, arranged for a medical examination, and kept her safely in a children's home.

Subsequently, a special team was formed to identify the child's parents. The team extensively analyzed CCTV footage from railway stations and the city, exchanged information with various states, and conducted a wide-ranging search campaign on social media and at the local level. After 11 days of tireless efforts, the child's parents were identified and located.

Initial inquiries revealed that the child was left at the railway station due to financial hardship. Legal proceedings in this case are ongoing.

Kidnapped Infant Safely Recovered in 48 Hours

Meanwhile, the Bina GRP successfully recovered an 8-month-old infant, who was abducted after getting separated from her mother, within a mere 48 hours.

As soon as the crime was registered, the Bina GRP constituted a special investigation team. The team meticulously examined CCTV footage from various railway stations, including Bina, Bhopal, Rani Kamlapati, Itarsi, Narmadapuram, and Jhansi. Based on technical evidence and continuous field operations, the accused woman was identified at Itarsi Railway Station, and the child was safely recovered.

This operation also showcased effective coordination between the GRP and the Railway Protection Force (RPF), which played a crucial role in the child's swift return.

Modern Techniques Ensure Child Safety

In both cases, GRP officers and personnel acted with extreme sensitivity, humanity, and professionalism, demonstrating swift action. The safety of both children was ensured through modern technology, CCTV analysis, inter-district coordination, and continuous field operations.
