Groundbreaking for Bhopal Utsav Fair Venue Completed
The groundbreaking ceremony for the proposed venue of the Bhopal Utsav Fair at Bhopal's TT Nagar Dussehra Maidan was successfully completed on Sunday, October 11, 2026. This significant occasion saw the presence of the state's Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Smt. Krishna Gaur, Member of Parliament from Bhopal, Shri Alok Sharma, Mayor of Bhopal, Smt. Malti Rai, and MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani.
During the event, prominent citizens of the city, along with members of the Bhopal Utsav Fair Organizing Committee, participated in the groundbreaking. This event marks the beginning of a new chapter in Bhopal's cultural and entertainment landscape, where the Bhopal Utsav Fair will be organized in the future.
Foundation Laid for New Fair Venue
The construction of this new venue for the Bhopal Utsav Fair, one of the city's major annual events, is a significant step forward. With the completion of the groundbreaking ceremony, the process of building the infrastructure for the fair's organization can now commence.
State Minister Krishna Gaur, who holds independent charge of the Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Department, highlighted the importance of the event. The presence of MP Alok Sharma and Mayor Malti Rai demonstrated the administrative and political commitment to this project. MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani also deemed the event crucial for Bhopal's development and local economy.
