Warm Reception for National OBC Morcha President
Amar Pal Maurya, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party's Other Backward Classes (OBC) Morcha and a Rajya Sabha MP, was given a grand welcome upon his arrival at Etawah Railway Station on August 26, 2026. He was traveling from Delhi to Lucknow on the Shatabdi Express.
Led by BJP District President Arun Kumar 'Annu' Gupta, elected representatives, party officials, workers, and supporters greeted Maurya with garlands, banners, and mementos. A palpable sense of enthusiasm was evident among the party cadre as he arrived.

A large number of party members presented bouquets and garlands, showering him with slogans. The presence of enthusiastic BJP workers created a vibrant party atmosphere at the railway station, signifying their commitment to the OBC Morcha and the organization.
Visibly moved by the heartfelt welcome, Amar Pal Maurya expressed his gratitude for the affection and enthusiasm shown by the workers. His face clearly reflected the joy derived from their support and energy.
Preparations and Worker Engagement
Party workers had made prior arrangements for the National President's welcome. Upon receiving news of his arrival, a significant number of officials, workers, and supporters had gathered at the station. During the reception, workers expressed their enthusiasm for strengthening the organization and their efforts to connect the OBC community with the party.

District President Annu Gupta stated that although the visit of the National OBC Morcha President to Etawah was brief, it infused new energy into the party workers of the district. He also noted that despite the inclement weather due to the rain, the workers viewed the welcome as an opportunity to demonstrate their loyalty and solidarity towards the organization.
The atmosphere of excitement persisted among the workers until the National President departed for Lucknow, becoming a talking point at Etawah Railway Station.
