National Unity and Self-Respect Celebrated in Ajnar

In a grand display of national pride, a Tiranga Yatra was organized in Ajnar village, located in the Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday. The procession, symbolizing the nation's freedom, self-respect, unity, and integrity, commenced from the Panchayat Secretariat and traversed the village lanes and main roads before concluding back at the secretariat.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from villagers, youth, and workers, all waving the national flag, creating an atmosphere brimming with fervor. This initiative reflects the spirit of the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, with similar programs being held across the country.

Preparations for National Campaigns

This grand Tiranga Yatra follows a series of preparatory events. On August 5, 2026, a workshop was held at the Mahoba BJP district office under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, where the Tiranga Yatra and public outreach campaigns were planned.

Further, on August 3, 2026, Mahoba's District Magistrate Ghazal Bhardwaj chaired a meeting on the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, outlining special programs from August 8 to August 15, including bike rallies and awareness drives.

Tiranga Yatra: A Symbol of National Unity

The Tiranga Yatra is not just an event, but a living symbol of the country's freedom, self-respect, unity, and integrity. This journey reminds us of the immortal sagas of brave martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation. It also conveys a message of dedication and resolve towards the country.

- Sandeep Rajput, Block Pramukh of Jaitpur

Speaking at the event, the chief guest, Sandeep Rajput, Block Pramukh of Jaitpur, emphasized that the Tiranga Yatra is a vibrant emblem of national freedom, self-respect, unity, and integrity. He highlighted that the procession serves as a remembrance of the sacrifices made by the nation's heroes and instills a sense of commitment and resolve.

Rajput, who filed his nomination for Block Pramukh of Jaitpur in July 2021, urged all citizens to respect the national flag and work together for the nation's progress and security. He stated that in times of various national challenges, such events strengthen national consciousness and make citizens more aware of their duties.

Distinguished Guests and Widespread Participation

The event was graced by the presence of numerous dignitaries from political and social spheres. Notable attendees included former assembly candidate Vinod Rajput, Block Pramukh Arvind Rajput, Mandal President Surendra Rajput, General Secretary Ankit Dubey, Lalchand Sagar, social worker Sandeep Rajput, Rajesh Rajput, former Block Pramukh Brajendra Abhinay Chandel, Pawan Rajput, Inderveer Singh, Kalka Prasad, Ranu Tiwari, and Rajju Tiwari.

In addition to these prominent figures, hundreds of workers and villagers participated with immense nationalistic spirit. The presence of Vinod Rajput, previously a notable candidate for the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), added to the prestige of the occasion. It is noteworthy that Tiranga Yatras are also being organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party across various mandals as part of a nationwide campaign.

Similarly, Tiranga Yatras were held in Nawabganj and Shamshabad in Farrukhabad on August 11, 2026. This event has proven to be a significant step in further strengthening the sentiment of nationalism and patriotism in the Mahoba district.
