Grand Devotional Processions in Aron

Aron, Guna District: The 17th grand palanquin procession of Sai Baba and the 'shobha yatra' (procession) of Mehndipur Balaji were held with immense devotion and enthusiasm in Aron on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. The religious event commenced at 9 AM from Sai Coaching Centre, attracting hundreds of devotees.

Led by Mukesh Chavan, the director of Sai Coaching Centre, the procession saw significant participation from local residents who are devoted to religion. A large crowd gathered on the streets to catch a glimpse of the palanquin carrying Sai Baba's idol and the tableau of Mehndipur Balaji.

Route and Devotional Displays

Devotees offered prayers, performed aarti (ritualistic lamp ceremony), and presented flowers along the route, expressing their faith. The grand procession traversed through various parts of the town.

The religious journey began at Sai Coaching Centre and passed through Shri Das Hanuman Temple, Main Market, Gulabganj Chauraha, Purana Bus Stand, Talkies Road, Saraswati Colony, Ratan Public School Lane, Bhujartala Road, and Rizouda Road, before concluding back at Sai Coaching Centre. The atmosphere was filled with devotional chants from the devotees throughout the entire route.

Message of Devotion and Service

Local citizens warmly welcomed the procession, and arrangements were made for distributing Prasad (blessed food) to the devotees. Mukesh Chavan, a devotee of Sai Baba, expressed gratitude to all present, stating that the primary objective of this palanquin procession is to connect devotees with the path of devotion and service.

He urged everyone to seek blessings by having darshan of Sai Baba and Mehndipur Balaji, thereby gaining spiritual merit.

The event concluded at Sai Coaching Centre, where a large number of devotees gathered, adding to the grandeur of the occasion. This annual event has become an integral part of Aron's religious tradition, drawing a significant number of people each year to express their faith.
