Gram Panchayat Secretary Suspended for Forgery

Veer Singh Chauhan, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the District Panchayat, has suspended Sher Singh Yadav, the secretary of the Bilav Gram Panchayat. This action was taken following serious allegations of manipulating birth dates and issuing fraudulent birth certificates and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).

An FIR has also been registered against Sher Singh Yadav at the City Kotwali Police Station in Bhind. The case came to light when a district court advocate, Gaurav Bhardwaj, submitted an application to the Janpad Panchayat Bhind. The CEO of the Janpad Panchayat subsequently ordered an investigation into the matter.

Investigation Uncovers Fraudulent Practices

The investigation report revealed gross negligence on the part of Gram Panchayat Secretary Sher Singh Yadav in performing his official duties. He allegedly altered the actual birth date of an individual named Vimal Yadav, entered incorrect information, and issued an NOC based on this falsified data.

During the inquiry, it was further discovered that two separate birth certificates had been issued for the same individual, a clear violation of established procedures. Following the exposure of this fraudulent activity, immediate action was taken against the concerned secretary. Given the gravity of the case, District Panchayat CEO Veer Singh Chauhan ordered the immediate suspension of Sher Singh Yadav.

During the suspension period, Sher Singh Yadav's headquarters have been set at the Janpad Panchayat Bhind. This incident raises serious questions about the misuse of government documents and the negligence exhibited by responsible officials.
