BJP-SP Workers Clash in Kaimganj Amidst Elections
Amidst the otherwise peaceful polling, a tense situation arose in Kaimganj tehsil when workers from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) clashed over issuing slips outside a polling station. The SP workers objected to the BJP workers gathering a crowd near the tehsil gate, which escalated into a heated argument and subsequently a physical altercation between both factions.
The police force present at the scene acted swiftly to separate the groups and bring the situation under control. Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sadar Sanjay Kumar, Circle Officer Nagar Abhay Verma, and Block Development Officer Yogesh Pandey, among other administrative officials, were present during the incident. The administration has claimed that the entire election process was conducted in a transparent and impartial manner.
