'Government at Your Doorstep' Camp in Raghoogarh Provides Immediate Aid to Differently-Abled Individual

Camp Organised Under Seva Setu Campaign

A 'Government at Your Doorstep' program, organized under the Seva Setu campaign, was held at the Raghoogarh Municipality premises on October 5, 2026. Collector Kishor Kumar Kanyal listened to citizens' concerns and assured prompt resolution. The camp aimed to deliver government scheme benefits to eligible individuals in a timely manner.

Immediate Assistance for Differently-Abled Applicant

During the event, a differently-abled applicant named Mukesh Ojha presented his difficulties to the Collector. Mukesh Ojha is disabled in one leg and is also facing severe issues with his other leg due to an accident. Understanding the gravity of his condition, Collector Kanyal immediately sanctioned an immediate financial aid of ₹10,000 from the Red Cross. Furthermore, he issued clear instructions to health department officials to provide all possible support for the proper treatment of Mukesh Ojha's legs, ensuring he receives better healthcare.

Health Check-ups and Scheme Information

A special camp was also set up for health check-ups, where present citizens underwent medical examinations. Information on public welfare schemes was disseminated through exhibitions by various government departments. On this occasion, beneficiaries of schemes like Pradhan Mantri Svanidhi, Patrata Parchi, and Sambal Yojana also received various benefits. Officials assured the attending citizens that received applications would be resolved swiftly.

Kuno Project and Women Empowerment Highlighted

In his address, Collector Kanyal also mentioned the developing Kuno Project in the district. He highlighted it as a major picnic spot and stated that the 'Jijji Ki Panchayat' restaurant, operated by self-help group women, is an excellent example of women empowerment. This initiative is playing a significant role in economically empowering local women. Present at the event were also SDM Amit Soni, along with other departmental officials and public representatives.
