Demand for Development at Maa Mansa Devi Temple
Meanwhile, a demand for the renovation of the ancient Shri Siddha Peeth Maa Mansa Devi Temple complex in Bargaon, Gonda district, has gained momentum. A delegation led by temple committee president Vijay Yadav met with the Union Minister of State for External Affairs, submitting a request letter.
The committee is seeking financial assistance from the central government for the construction of a 40x60 feet multipurpose hall and an open gym within the temple premises. They highlighted the lack of adequate space for resting and other facilities for the large crowds of devotees during Navratri and other significant religious events.
