Gohad Police Crack Two-Month-Old Theft Case, Apprehend Accused with Stolen Motorcycle
Gohad Police have recovered a stolen Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle, apprehending the accused two months after the incident.

Motorcycle Recovered, Accused Arrested
The Gohad Police Station in Bhind district has achieved a significant success by recovering a Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle that was stolen two months ago. Acting on precise informant information, the police swiftly apprehended the accused, seizing the stolen bike from his possession. This success is expected to curb theft incidents in the region.
Investigation Launched After Complaint
The case came to light on August 15, 2026, when a complainant reported the theft of his motorcycle, bearing registration number MP 30 MD 4402, at the police station. The police registered a case under Crime No. 194/26, Section 303(2) BNS, and commenced an investigation.
Special Team Formed to Combat Burglaries
With the objective of solving ongoing theft incidents, a special team was constituted under the direction of Superintendent of Police Bhind, Suraj Kumar Verma, and Additional Superintendent of Police Pradeep Patel, with guidance from SDOP Mahendra Kumar Gautam. This team actively engaged its informant network in the area to gather intelligence.
Accused Apprehended Based on Tip-off
On Saturday, the police received crucial information indicating that a suspicious individual was seen in the area with the stolen motorcycle. Responding with alacrity, the Gohad Police laid a cordon near the canal bank behind the seed godown farm and apprehended the accused. During a search, the police successfully recovered the stolen Splendor motorcycle from the accused.
Accused Presented in Court
The arrested accused has been presented before the honorable court. The police have acknowledged the commendable role played by Gohad Police Station Chief Inspector Narendra Singh Kushwaha, along with Head Constable Ram Niwas Dixit, Constable Brijesh Sharma, Constable Sagar Singh, Constable Yogendra Singh Tomar, and Constable Bhanu Tomar in this successful operation. The promptness and effectiveness of the police action have brought relief to the local residents.
