During an appearance on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s show 'Double Date', Khan disclosed Darbar's peculiar fondness for smelling her underarms, believing they always maintain a fresh scent.

The candid confession during the show's latest episode drew surprised reactions from hosts Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, with Dhupia humorously labelling it an "underarm fetish." Khan expressed mock shock, questioning how the hosts acquired such intimate details, playfully asking if they had access to their private lives.

Zaid Darbar's Unique Preference

Darbar clarified his statement, explaining that his fascination stems from a belief that baby-like skin, as he described Khan's underarms, possesses a unique softness and pleasant aroma. "I feel baby skin is, you know, really soft and smooth," he stated, downplaying any significant fetishism.

Khan further elaborated on his specific appreciation, noting Darbar's consistent assertion that her underarms smell fresh. "He also thinks that my underarms smell fresh all the time, so he wouldn’t care," she added.

Darbar confirmed his simple action, stating, "I wouldn’t do anything; I just touch that. I just touch that, and I smell that." Khan humorously recounted how he even shares this observation with his sister, saying, "He touches it and smells it, and then he tells his own sister, 'Look, it smells so good.'" This shared anecdote had Neha and Angad in splits.

Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar's relationship commenced unexpectedly during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. Their connection began on Instagram, with Darbar initiating contact, and their conversations quickly evolved into a serious romance.

Khan had previously revealed that Darbar proposed marriage within a month of them getting acquainted. Their union also garnered attention due to a six-year age gap, which initially caused some hesitation among their families. Despite these reservations, the couple remained committed to their decision.

They became engaged in November 2020 and subsequently married in a grand nikah ceremony on December 25, 2020. The couple welcomed their first son, Zehaan, in May 2023, followed by their second son, Farwaan, on September 1, 2025.

In terms of their professional lives, Gauahar Khan is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming film 'Ikroop'.
