New Executive Takes Oath
The oath-taking ceremony for the new district executive of the Sarv Samaj Samanvay Mahasabha was held at Saraswati Shishu Mandir School in Garhbandh, Chhattisgarh. The event saw the presence of dignitaries including the Mahasabha's State President, Professor Dr. Sanjeev Karmakar Vashishth. The newly appointed officials took an oath of office and secrecy, pledging to work with dedication for social unity, social democracy, and public welfare.
Key Appointments and Priorities
In a significant appointment, retired headmaster Dr. Munnilal Devdas, a recipient of Presidential and Governor's awards, was nominated as the Garhbandh District Patron for Sarv Samaj Samanvay Mahasabha Social Democracy Chhattisgarh. The district executive members also collectively took their oaths and assumed their organizational responsibilities. Professor Dr. Sanjeev Karmakar Vashishth, in his address, highlighted the organization's priorities: social unity, social democracy, education, regional development, and the holistic upliftment of all sections of society. He emphasized that the Mahasabha aims to protect and promote the interests of all communities, remaining separate from politics.

Demand for Residential University
Following the oath ceremony, the Sarv Samaj Samanvay Mahasabha prominently raised the demand for the establishment of a government residential university in the Garhbandh district. The Mahasabha argues that such a university would provide local students with better higher education opportunities within their district, reducing the need for them to relocate and easing the financial burden on their families. The establishment of the university is also expected to boost the academic environment, promote research and skill development, and create new employment opportunities for the youth.

The newly appointed district executive members of the Sarv Samaj Samanvay Mahasabha Chhattisgarh were presented with certificates and formally inducted into their positions. The new executive includes: Dr. Munnilal Devdas as Patron, Keshar Kumar Nirmalkar as District President, Dr. Bodhan Lal Kanshi as District Convener, Motiram Nishad, Phirangi Ram Patel, Sandeep Pandey, Kuleshwar Sinha, and Devlal Markar as Vice Presidents, Domar Sahu as District Secretary, Chhabisingh Thakur as Treasurer, and Nageshwar More as Media Secretary. These officials pledged to work with dedication and prioritize social welfare issues.
