Jayanti Celebration at Arya Samaj Temple

On October 2nd, the 'My Bharat' organization held a heartfelt commemoration of the birth anniversaries of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri at the Arya Samaj Temple in Kamalganj, Farrukhabad. The event focused on discussing the ideals and philosophies of both great leaders, with youth pledging to follow their guided paths.

Inspiring Ideals of Great Leaders

The program, presided over by Arya Samaj President Pradeep Arya, commenced with floral tributes and offerings to portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Attendees spoke of drawing inspiration from the lives of these luminaries and integrating their principles into daily life.

Sacrifice and Simplicity as Guiding Principles

Representing the organization, Sadhana Rajput highlighted the enduring relevance of Mahatma Gandhi's message of truth and non-violence for contemporary society, describing his life as a symbol of simplicity and dedication. She also lauded Lal Bahadur Shastri's patriotism, simplicity, and honesty as inspirational for society.

"The slogan 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan' given by him is still a symbol of the nation's pride today," stated chief speaker Acharya Sandeep Arya, calling Lal Bahadur Shastri a unique example of sacrifice and honesty. He emphasized that achieving greatness requires character building and sacrifice, not material wealth.

Youth Pledges Contribution to Nation Building

Arya Samaj President Pradeep Arya urged the assembled youth, stating that celebrating the birth anniversaries of great leaders is meaningful only when their ideals become part of our daily conduct. He called upon the youth to contribute to nation-building by embracing principles like Gandhiji's truth and non-violence, and Shastriji's simplicity and national loyalty.

Students from M.D.S. Library actively participated, sharing inspirations drawn from the leaders' lives. Sahil Kumar and Abhay Singh also expressed their views. A large number of dignitaries and citizens, including Sumit Rajput, Manjesh Yadav, Roshan, Amit, Atul Yadav, Pranshu, Mohan, Dheerendra, Yogesh, Surbhi Dixit, Kajal, Saba Naaz, Ajra, Priya Kushwaha, Ritual Agarwal, and Muskan Thakur, were present. All speakers collectively underscored the criticality of Gandhiji's thoughts on truth and non-violence in overcoming present-day challenges.
