District Administration Takes Strict Action

The district administration in Guna has taken stringent action against four patwaris for serious negligence and indifference in the implementation of the Ownership Rights Record Execution and Registration Scheme-2026. This action was taken on the instructions of Collector Kishor Kumar Kanyal, highlighting the administration's zero-tolerance policy towards delays in government priority schemes.

Patwaris Suspended for Lapses

The suspended patwaris include Lalit Mohan Sharma from Bamori tehsil, Vijay Singh Bhil from Kumbhraj tehsil, Meharban Bhil from Maksudan garh tehsil, and Mahendra Kirar from Aaron sub-division. All have been accused of failing to complete their assigned tasks under the ownership scheme in a timely manner.

Disregard for State Directives

The district administration considers this negligence a direct disregard of clear directives from the Chief Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh government. The action underscores the seriousness with which the administration views the slow pace of implementation of key schemes.

Indifference to Key Scheme Implementation

The district administration clarified that any slackness or negligence at any level in the implementation of crucial schemes like the ownership scheme, which is among the Chief Minister's priorities, will not be tolerated. Administrative officials stated that strict action will be taken against any employee found unable to follow government instructions, as per rules.

Probationary Patwaris Also Noticed

In addition to the permanent patwaris, probationary patwaris who have shown a lack of interest in their assigned duties for the scheme have also faced action. The administration has initiated the process of issuing notices for termination of service to all such probationary patwaris.

Revenue Department in Turmoil

This decisive action has sent a wave of shock through the revenue department. The district administration emphasized that ensuring the timely implementation of public welfare schemes is the collective responsibility of all concerned officials and employees, and any indifference will be dealt with severely.
