Four Arrested for Attacking Forest Personnel in Aaron, Sent to Jail

Aaron Police Arrest Four for Attacking Forest Team

Under strict orders from Guna Superintendent of Police Hitika Vasal to conduct a rigorous campaign against criminals, the Aaron Police Station has successfully apprehended four individuals accused of attacking a forest department team and obstructing official duties. The arrested individuals, identified as Kalyan Ahirwar, Vijay Ahirwar, Raghunath Ahirwar, and Sunil Ahirwar, have been remanded to judicial custody.

Attack Occurred During Protest Against Illegal Logging

The incident took place on September 1, 2026, in the forest area of Jhajhon village. According to information received from the police, Forest Guard Pramod Kumar Gaur was on patrol with his team. They apprehended three individuals red-handed engaged in illegal timber cutting. When the forest guard questioned them, they summoned their associates.

Subsequently, all the accused collectively not only verbally abused the forest personnel but also physically assaulted them and impeded government work. The police have registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code at the Aaron Police Station based on the complaint of the forest guard.

Four Accused Apprehended Thanks to Informant Network

Considering the gravity of the incident, the police immediately launched an investigation and activated their informant network to track down the accused. On September 14, 2026, the police received precise information from an informant, leading to a swift operation. The police subsequently raided and arrested the four absconding accused, who are reportedly residents of Jhajhon village.

The arrested individuals include Kalyan son of Hamira Ahirwar, Vijay son of Chandana Ahirwar, Raghunath son of Baldeva Ahirwar, and Sunil son of Kalyan Ahirwar.

Obstruction of Government Work Not Tolerated: Police

After completing all necessary legal procedures against the accused, the police presented them before the Hon'ble court, from where they were sent to jail. Station House Officer Sub-Inspector Pankaj Kushwaha, Sub-Inspector Kishore Toppo, along with Constables Dinesh Sharma, Sachin, Jitendra Pal, Irshad Khan, Jitendra Gurjar, Bhupendra, and Pratap Maurya played a significant role in this entire operation.

The police have made it clear that anyone obstructing government work will not be spared and that such incidents will be closely monitored in the future. The administration has also stated that any form of misconduct towards employees deployed for the protection of forest resources will not be tolerated.
