SP Intensifies Campaign for Teachers' MLC Election

The Samajwadi Party (SP) has significantly accelerated its election campaign for the Gorakhpur-Faizabad division Teachers' Legislative Council (MLC) election. In a significant development, former MLC Ranvijay Singh visited the Nawabganj area of Gonda district on Thursday to seek support for the party's official candidate, Dr. Sanjayan Tripathi, from voters associated with the Secondary Teachers' Association.

During his visit, Ranvijay Singh referred to Dr. Sanjayan Tripathi as the 'educational ambassador' of Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav. He appealed to the teachers, highlighting the election as a golden opportunity to effectively raise crucial issues concerning their interests in the state legislature. Singh emphasized the party's firm commitment to reinstating the old pension scheme and safeguarding the rights of ad-hoc teachers.

Singh expressed confidence that Dr. Tripathi's victory would prove instrumental in resolving the various problems faced by teachers.

Intensive Public Outreach by SP Continues

Vijay Paswan, former candidate from the Mankapur assembly constituency, stated that dedicated worker teams have been deployed in all sixteen blocks of Gonda district. These teams are engaging directly with teachers in different schools, building support for the party. Prominent party workers, including Dinesh Yadav, are actively participating in this public outreach campaign.

During their electioneering, SP leaders are placing particular emphasis on key issues such as teachers' interests, the restoration of the old pension scheme, and the rights of ad-hoc teachers. Party workers claim to be effectively presenting the party's agenda to teachers across all areas of the district. This intensive public outreach campaign by the Samajwadi Party is set to continue until the election.
