Former Minister Expresses Concern Over Disorder at Badkua School-Anganwadi, Issues Directives

Concerns Raised Over School and Anganwadi Conditions

Former Madhya Pradesh Minister Surendra Choudhary visited the integrated government primary and secondary school and Anganwadi Centre No. 1 in Badkua village, Naryavali assembly constituency, on Monday. He assessed the prevailing disorder and expressed serious concern over the lack of facilities.

During his inspection, Choudhary observed a shortage of classrooms and inadequate drinking water arrangements at the school. Furthermore, the playground was strewn with stones and debris, posing a safety hazard for children. Similarly, Anganwadi Centre No. 1 was found to be lacking basic amenities such as toilets and safe drinking water.

Directives Issued for Immediate Remediation

Local residents also apprised the former minister of the difficulties faced by the children. Following discussions with administrative officials via telephone, Choudhary issued directives for the prompt provision of essential basic facilities at the school and Anganwadi center.

He specifically instructed that the stones and debris be cleared from the playground to make it safe and usable for children. Mr. Choudhary emphasized that children's education, health, and a secure environment should not be compromised under any circumstances.

“Providing necessary facilities in schools and Anganwadi centers in rural areas is the primary responsibility of the administration,” stated Choudhary.
