Food Minister Emphasizes Public Grievances, Directs Timely Solutions

Minister Hears Public and Representative Concerns

In line with Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav's vision, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput listened intently to the concerns of ordinary citizens and public representatives from across the state on Tuesday at the Ministry.

He instructed officials to ensure there are no unnecessary delays in resolving public issues and that eligible individuals receive benefits from government schemes on time.

Range of Issues Addressed

During the public hearing, a large number of people met with Minister Rajput regarding personal and regional problems. These primarily included a lack of basic amenities such as roads, electricity, drinking water, education, health, housing, and revenue-related matters.

Additionally, discussions covered the status of development works in various areas and pending local issues. Representatives from the Surkhi assembly constituency also briefed the minister on their area's development needs and public interest issues.

No Tolerance for Delays in Problem Resolution

Food Minister Shri Rajput listened patiently to each citizen's concerns and directed officials from the concerned departments to examine the cases according to rules and ensure prompt and effective solutions.

He emphasized that any delay in resolving these issues would not be tolerated. Officials must also ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of government schemes on time.

Shri Rajput instructed that matters of public interest be addressed on a priority basis and that the progress of development works be continuously monitored.

Direct Public Engagement is Part of Commitment

Minister Govind Singh Rajput stated that serving the public and resolving their problems is the paramount responsibility of any public representative. In this spirit, he regularly engages with the public on Mondays and Thursdays in Sagar and on Tuesdays at the Ministry and his government residence in Bhopal.

His endeavor is to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person in society and that people do not have to face difficulties for their small or big problems. Direct public engagement, problem resolution, and continuous regional development are his core commitments.
