Literary Luminaries and Educational Institutions Recognized in Fetehgarh

A distinguished event was organized at PM Shri Mahadevi Verma Government Girls Inter College in Fetehgarh, Farrukhabad, with the aim of promoting the national language, Hindi. This ceremony saw the felicitation of 17 litterateurs from the district with certificates of appreciation, shawls, and books, funded by the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme. Additionally, 44 inter-colleges received book donations.

Inauguration and Welcoming of Guests

The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of lamps and a rendition of the Saraswati Vandana. Following this, nine students from the school presented a welcome song, offering a warm reception to the esteemed guests.

Member of Parliament Mukesh Rajput reiterated his commitment to fostering Hindi literature, stating that efforts to promote the national language will continue unabated. He also announced further expansion of this initiative in the upcoming fiscal year.

Honoring Literary Contributions and Educational Support

Seventeen litterateurs were honored for their exceptional contributions to Hindi literature. Furthermore, forty-four inter-colleges across the district were provided with books to aid in the dissemination of education.

The Significance of Literature in Education

District Magistrate Dr. Ankur Lathar emphasized the importance of books in the field of education, highlighting that the works of litterateurs serve as a source of inspiration for society. Senior litterateur Dr. Shivom Ambar urged attendees to face challenges with a positive outlook.

Recognition for Academic and Administrative Excellence

Individuals who have performed commendably in various fields were also recognized during the ceremony. Virendra Kumar Singh, a retired accountant from the District Rural Development Agency, along with other departmental staff, received special accolades. A total of sixteen female teachers, including Principal Deepika Rajput, were presented with teacher appreciation certificates for their significant academic contributions.

Event Objectives and Participation

The primary objective of the event was to cultivate an interest in reading and writing among students and to spread the Hindi language to every household. Teachers, officials, and students from across the district participated enthusiastically in this program. The event was compered by young poet Vaibhav Somvanshi. Several public representatives and distinguished individuals were present, including Chief Development Officer Vinod Kumar Gaud, Project Director Kapil Kumar, District Inspector of Schools Sanjeev Kumar, and BJP State General Secretary Shankar Lal Lodhi.
