Flag Hoisted with Dignity at Fategarh Police Lines

On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, the national flag was hoisted with immense dignity and patriotic fervor at the Quarter Guard of Fategarh Police Lines on Friday, August 15, 2026. The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted by the Superintendent of Police, Fategarh.

Following the flag hoisting, attending police officers and personnel rendered a salute to the national flag. A collective rendition of the national anthem paid tribute to the freedom fighters and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation's independence. The police line premises were alive with an atmosphere of patriotism.

Reinforcing National Unity and Sovereignty

Police officers and constables, in their prescribed uniforms, demonstrated their respect for the national flag with disciplined adherence. The event served as a platform to reiterate the commitment to safeguarding national unity, integrity, and the country's sovereignty.

Commitment to Duty and Public Service

On this occasion, the Superintendent of Police, Fategarh, extended warm greetings to all police officers and personnel of the district on Independence Day. He emphasized that freedom is not merely a symbol of rights but also the responsibility of honestly fulfilling one's duties towards the country and society.

The police force was urged to remain ever-vigilant in maintaining law and order, ensuring the safety of ordinary citizens, and protecting their rights. The Superintendent called upon the police personnel to discharge their responsibilities with complete loyalty, honesty, sensitivity, and dedication.

He stated that the police are a crucial link of trust between the general public and the government administration. The behavior of every police officer should be respectful, impartial, and sensitive towards citizens. Alongside ensuring adherence to the law, there is a need to work with utmost seriousness towards assisting those in need and ensuring swift justice for victims.

Prioritizing National Interest

The ceremony included a remembrance of the struggle for India's independence and the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. A message was conveyed to prioritize national interest above all else.

All officers and personnel present pledged to strengthen the unity and integrity of the country and to perform their duties with full responsibility in their respective domains. Several officials and employees from the police department, including the Additional Superintendent of Police, Fategarh, the Circle Officer, Mohammadabad/Line, and the Reserve Inspector, were present during the event.

Throughout the program, a spirit of discipline, patriotism, and national pride was clearly evident in the premises.
