At Fategarh Police Lines, the 80th Independence Day was marked with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony led by the Superintendent of Police.

Flag Hoisted with Dignity at Fategarh Police Lines
On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, the national flag was hoisted with immense dignity and patriotic fervor at the Quarter Guard of Fategarh Police Lines on Friday, August 15, 2026. The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted by the Superintendent of Police, Fategarh.
Following the flag hoisting, attending police officers and personnel rendered a salute to the national flag. A collective rendition of the national anthem paid tribute to the freedom fighters and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation's independence. The police line premises were alive with an atmosphere of patriotism.
Reinforcing National Unity and Sovereignty
Police officers and constables, in their prescribed uniforms, demonstrated their respect for the national flag with disciplined adherence. The event served as a platform to reiterate the commitment to safeguarding national unity, integrity, and the country's sovereignty.

On this occasion, the Superintendent of Police, Fategarh, extended warm greetings to all police officers and personnel of the district on Independence Day. Several officials and employees from the police department, including the Additional Superintendent of Police, Fategarh, the Circle Officer, Mohammadabad/Line, and the Reserve Inspector, were present during the event.
