The awards aim to familiarise the younger generation of the Goenka community with rich Marwari culture and traditions. The social, religious, and cultural programs scheduled during the five-day event are designed to foster an emotional connection with their ancestral land and inspire adherence to family traditions among the youth.
Shri Arun Goenka, Chairman of the Goenka Community Award Committee, has urged all eligible individuals to nominate themselves or deserving candidates for these awards. Nominations can be submitted through the Trust's official website. The deadline for submitting nominations is July 31, 2026, with awardees to be announced in the first week of September 2026. A three-member jury, comprising distinguished members of society, will select the awardees.
