Plantation Drive for Environmental Protection

In accordance with the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' directives from the Uttar Pradesh government, a tree-planting program was organized in Farrukhabad. The primary objective of this initiative was to conserve the environment and ensure a clean atmosphere for future generations.

The campaign, organized by the Social Forestry Division, was inaugurated by Farrukhabad MP Mukesh Rajput himself, who planted a peepal sapling. Other prominent attendees included Bharatiya Janata Party District President Fatehchandra Verma and several senior party officials.

Together, the participants planted twenty-five saplings of various species, including peepal, pakar, bargad, gular, maulsari, and kadamb. This effort aims to foster a sense of community responsibility towards the environment.

Emphasis on Environmental Conservation and Plant Protection

Addressing a meeting held after the plantation, MP Mukesh Rajput underscored the significance of tree planting in mitigating environmental imbalance. He stressed that protecting the newly planted saplings is crucial to providing a healthy and clean environment for the coming generations.

“The protection of planted saplings is extremely important to provide a healthy and clean environment to the coming generations,” stated MP Mukesh Rajput.

The MP directed concerned officials to erect fencing around the plantation sites to safeguard the saplings and ensure their proper growth. This measure is intended to prevent damage and support the development of the young trees.

STP Inspection and Water Purification Directives

During the event, MP Mukesh Rajput also conducted an impromptu inspection of the STP (Sewage Treatment Plant). He personally examined the quality of the water being treated at the plant.

Issuing clear instructions to the officials, he stated that the water must be purified according to the prescribed standards before being discharged into the Ganga River. This directive is aimed at reducing water pollution and maintaining the health of the river ecosystem.

Large-Scale Plantation Planned at Puthri Amrit Sarovar

The MP also outlined plans for a large-scale tree-planting event on September 23rd at the Amrit Sarovar in Puthri, Mohammadabad, to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. This special event aims to engage more people in the importance of tree planting and spread awareness about environmental conservation.

Present at the occasion were Divisional Director Rajiv Kumar, Regional Forest Officer Anup Kumar, Forest Inspectors Tahir Ahmad, Rahul Saxena, Amit Kumar, and Forest Guards Mohit Saxena and Manoj Kumar Gaur, along with other departmental staff. They reiterated their commitment to nature through plantation and urged the public to plant more trees.
