Ganesh Mahotsav Concludes with Grand Feast

Farrukhabad | September 25, 2026 - The 11-day Ganesh Mahotsav in Farrukhabad's Kasba Bazaar concluded on Friday evening with a grand community feast. The religious event's final phase saw 151 girls being honored with a meal, after which their blessings were sought.

Following the feast for the girls, prasad (blessed food) was distributed among general devotees and passersby. This year's Ganesh Mahotsav concluded with a community feast organized through social cooperation, further deepening the devotional atmosphere in the region.

Immersion and Community Support

On Thursday, the Ganesh idols were ceremonially immersed, for which special security arrangements and police presence were in place. The event on Friday, featuring the feast for the girls and prasad distribution, saw significant contributions from social workers including Gyansindr Pratap Singh, Arju Lala Bhaiya, Rahul Pratap Singh, Vineet Kumar, Indresh Kumar, and Mahendra Nursing.

The program commenced with the feeding of the 151 girls, where Gyansindr Pratap Singh personally served them food and sought their blessings. Subsequently, a variety of prasad, including kheer, poori, and ladoos, was distributed to the general public and devotees attending the festival.

Devotee Enthusiasm and Social Harmony

A large crowd of devotees was observed throughout the day in Kasba Bazaar, reflecting the grandeur of the event. The prasad distribution concluded peacefully, with the presence of police ensuring order and smooth management.
