Sanitation and Service Campaign Held at Farrukhabad Cow Shelter

Farrukhabad | September 24, 2026 – A special sanitation and service program was organized at the cow shelter in Nekpur Khurd, Farrukhabad district, as part of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' on Thursday. This initiative saw officials and local villagers contributing labor to clean the premises.

Assistant Development Officer Panchayat Om Shiv Pandey, Gram Panchayat Secretary Alok Dubey, administrator Devendra, and Livestock Extension Officer Ragini participated alongside local villagers in the cleanliness drive. Alongside sanitation, the cows were also fed green vegetables as part of their care.

Officials Issue Directives for Improved Cow Shelter Facilities

During the campaign, officials inspected the cow shelter and assessed its current facilities. They issued strict instructions to cow herders regarding the maintenance of continuous cleanliness within the premises. Assurance was also given that the cows would be provided with sufficient green fodder and nutritious feed daily.

The Assistant Development Officer Panchayat emphasized the importance of cleanliness, stating that poor hygiene adversely affects the health of cattle. The administration is committed to ensuring the well-being of the animals through regular upkeep and proper nutrition.

Door-to-Door Garbage Collection Emphasized for Village Cleanliness

Administrative officials have directed the smooth operation of daily door-to-door garbage collection in the village. They believe that regular cleaning and a balanced diet are crucial for the proper care of cattle.
